Kasia Newton
Founder & Director, BalArt
Kasia Newton is the founder and director of BalArt, bringing nearly two decades of experience in Dubai's creative, cultural, and events industries. Known for her precision, intuition, and dedication to artistic integrity, she has worked with international artists, major institutions, and landmark public spaces across the UAE.
Originally from Poland and having lived between Europe, Australia, and the Middle East, Kasia brings a multicultural perspective to her curatorial approach. Her work is grounded in sensitivity to place, narrative, and craftsmanship — and in her ability to translate complex artistic visions into seamless, impactful installations.
Kasia's professional journey began in Dubai's dynamic events and arts sector, where she coordinated high-profile cultural projects, exhibitions, and creative productions. Over the years, she developed a deep understanding of the region's artistic landscape and built long-lasting relationships with artists, collectors, and cultural partners.
BalArt was born from her belief in presenting art that is both technically exceptional and emotionally resonant. Kasia is closely involved in every stage of each project — from concept selection and artist liaison to logistics, installation, and final presentation.

Kasia's return to DIFC Sculpture Park — after working with balancing sculptures in Dubai 17 years ago — marks a full-circle moment, bringing her experience, vision, and renewed passion to a new chapter. She continues to expand BalArt's roster and collaborations, focusing on artists whose voices are distinct, sincere, and transformative.

Exhibitions
DIFC Sculpture Park 2025 — Enduring Forms
BalArt is honoured to participate in one of Dubai's most influential annual art events.
Now in its fourth edition, DIFC Sculpture Park has become one of the UAE's most prominent public art exhibitions — a curated, city-wide showcase of international sculpture, architectural dialogue, and site-specific installations. Organised by the Dubai International Financial Centre, the exhibition transforms the Gate District into an open-air museum visited by thousands of residents, collectors, curators, and international guests.
This year's theme, "Enduring Forms," explores how material, narrative, and craftsmanship shape the artistic imprint that remains long after the moment of creation. The exhibition brings together a carefully selected group of regional and international artists whose works respond to Dubai's evolving urban landscape.
BalArt is proud to present ten sculptures by two exceptional artists:
- Jerzy (Jotka) Kędziora — seven iconic balancing sculptures, including works suspended above the public realm and two installed within water, creating a rare and visually striking dialogue with the architectural environment.
- Paulina Domagalska — three emotionally resonant animal-form sculptures, including the acclaimed White Foal and Two Fawns from her evolving "Forest" installation.
These works demonstrate the shared values of DIFC Sculpture Park and BalArt: innovation, craftsmanship, and the ability of sculpture to transform space and redefine equilibrium.
